Job Summary: The role of the HR Coordinator is to provide administrative support in functional areas of HR such as: employee relations, engagement and retention, training, record keeping, and HRIS entry. The Coordinator is the internal support for our Pack Members and ensures a smooth day-to-day operation of the HR Department in delivering outstanding service to Pack Members.

Duties:

Employee Relations:

  • Support the policies and procedures of the CCC and Great Wolf Resorts
  • Support the HR Department in the maintenance of human resource records, past and current including but not limited to: Personnel Files, I-9, EEOC, Worker's Compensation, Drug Screening, Incident Files, Health Files, and Stale Checks. Assist the HR Manager in ensuring that all files are up to date and all paperwork is properly filed
  • Support the HR Manager in keeping the HRIS data correct and up to date; ensure all Pack Member information changes are updated in a timely manner
  • Maintains confidentiality in all matters regarding the Customer Contact Center and its Pack Members
  • Own the tracking of attendance points with WFA and assist the HR Manager in evaluating/assessing any exceptions or corrective actions that need to be made where HR should be involved
  • Support the HR Department with Pack Member benefit programs by preparing Pack Member's benefit information and maintaining Pack Member documentation in regards to health and welfare benefits
Training:
  • Support the HR Manager by assisting in facilitating Wolfology 101 when necessary
  • Assist the Training team with ensuring training certifications reporting it is up to date and in good standing
Engagement & Retention:
  • Support the HR Manager in driving participation and completion of all engagement and satisfaction surveys
  • Support the HR Manager in creation, development, implementation, and management of retention programs in the CCC
  • Support the Spirit Team by assisting in any tasks needed to hold successful engagement and retention events in the CCC
Administration:
  • Help support the HR Manager in the creation and execution of the bi-weekly payroll processing
  • Own the creation and construction of new hire material for new hire classes
  • Serve as the main point of contact to fulfill and track Pack Member requests for the department and act as an escalation point for the HR Manager and Corporate HR Director
  • Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing Human Resource projects

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of previous HR work experience, HR Training, or Talent Acquisiton
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to compose memos, correspondence and other documentation
  • Ability to accommodate the needs of the Director and Manager
  • Ability to handle problems and requests of all CCC Pack Members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or relative degree preferred
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work collectively with the administrative team members
  • Must be a self-starter/self-motivated with good work ethic
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
